To edit the one on your page, first click the edit button. You will probably be in "View" mode. To edit your games beaten userbox, click the tab that says "Source." Then, you should see something like {{GamesBeaten|?<insert games beaten here>}} Replace the "?<Insert games beaten here>" with the number of games beaten. Images

Hi and welcome to the wiki! I saw you recently uploaded some images in .jpeg, and later in .png. I'm not sure why, but they look blurry. Maybe it is because you resized them, or you saved them first in .jpg and then in .png. Specially with Nitrome games, pixels are important, so could you upload not-blurry images? Hi Megaphantaze, I'm SQhi, a member around here. Sorry that I haven't popped by to say hi yet!

Well, printscreen and screen recording software could be your friends.

Also, we also prefer using the .png image format here. It's easier to resize. =) From my personal experience, JPEG resizing may not always work. Also, for an image which you want to edit, it isn't that good to save it in jpeg format. JPEG is like a compressed format, with only the minimum details to keep the image size small. While working on an image we should try to keep it in a format will more details, like PNG.

Hi Megaphantaze! Great work on those articles you made! It's good to see users helping out with articles, as it seems as though there has been a sudden drop in article creation.

I have a few suggestions for you:

• 1: Try uploading your images as .png instead of as .jpg - uploading them as .jpg makes that image's file size smaller, but also reduces (lowers) the quality of the image, making it not look that good. If you upload the image in .png, the image retains the same quality as you captured the image in. To upload an image in .png, when saving the image, simply place .png at the end of the image's file name.
• 2: When creating an article, there isn't any need to add {{Games}} at the bottom of the article, that template should only be placed at the bottom of articles on an actual Nitrome game (Canary, The Bucket, Test Subject Complete, etc.).

You should try messaging Frosty on his Deviant art account and whatever other accounts where you can message him. It may work to alert him, however, the hacker could've gained accessed to those accounts as well if Frosty's computer got hacked. Still, doesn't hurt to try. Regarding the incident on the chat

I have some questions regarding this (note: content in brackets has been added for context):

• "He [Megaphantaze] said one time was accident, but at the first time Mark said "Mega kick him", and then Mega kicked me. [first time kicked]" Is it true you kicked Mahsaad because Mark said this? And if this is true, did you do it completely because of what Mark said or did something happen before than caused you to kick Mahsaad when Mark said this?
• "When I entered the chat I said why did you kick me? Mega answered, Don't look at me, Mark told me to kick you. ... He kicked me again. [second time]" Why did you kick him the second time?
• "I entered the chat again, and Mega said I will be banned for swearing. Okay, I tell that I did swear in Klem's PM because I was very angry that time. Anyways, then I said that if you can ban me ban Mark too, because he said, <F word here> you. I think Mega thought I told that to him in rage. And now, I'm banned." Did you block Mahsaad because when he was quoting Mark you thought what Mahsaad said was directed to you?

Also, something regarding your post on my talk page: "[Mahsaad has been] insulting people on their PMs and he even swore in the open chat." Mahsaad says because he was angry he used profanity when talking to Klemen. However, what other people said Mahsaad used profanity when talking in PMs? Thank you for replying. When in the chat you should not kick someone just because someone tells you to do so, you should only kick that person if they have done something wrong. In the case with Mark, you didn't know what wrong was done yet you followed Mark, which you shouldn't have done. Again, for the second one you shouldn't have kicked Mahsaad, but instead explained to him why you had kicked him (Mahsaad). Kicking him just because he said to kick Klemen is nothing bad and not proper grounds for a kick.

In the future, people should only be banned if they have done something wrong, and if people ask for other people to be banned you should not do it unless the person being mentioned has done something wrong. Thank you for providing this information because I see that those kicks to Mahsaad and a block were a misunderstanding. --Talk to NOBODY   16:16, March 21, 2015 (UTC)

Magic Touch logo

Just to let you know

It's generally not a good wiki practice to remove talk page messages, even if you were informed earlier about the problem's reason. If anything, keeping the messages on there lets other people know that you have been messaged about it and removing it just looks like you were never told in the first place, thus opening yourself for another chance to receive that same message. Unless it is your habit to remove talk page messages after reading them (which clearly isn't the case), then please don't just delete it. Music

I am sorry this is late, but "Category:Music by Dave Cowen" and "Category:Music by Lee Nicklen" is only meant for audio files on the wiki and not as a category for game articles. So, for game article, "Category:Games with music by Dave Cowen" and "Category:Games with music by Lee Nicklen" are still used. --Talk to NOBODY   16:25, November 13, 2015 (UTC)

The whole "Games with music by ____" is inconsistent with the other staff categories, eg. Category:Art by Helm, Category:Programming by Aaron Steed, etc. I personally see it more ideal to keep the categorical structure consistent - either have all staff categories listed as "Games with programming/art/whatever by ______" or just leave out the "Games with" (which I would prefer and would be more practical to do). Honestly, I don't see why we can't have both articles and files in the same category. Each category can distinguish articles from files, and sorts them both accordingly, so it's not a huge hassle. We could just change the description on the category to include pages and files, or even move all music files to a different category. (We ought to consider a bot for these jobs though so that they don't flood Recent Changes.)   Random-storykeeper 08:11, November 21, 2015 (UTC)

Since a userpage belongs to the user the userpage is about, it isn't necessary for there to be a rule in a policy here that says other users cannot edit other people's userpages. Pixel Love content on year pages

Sorry about being late about this. Pixel Love content shouldn't be covered on year pages, since year pages cover notable events relating to Nitrome and Pixel Love games being highlighted isn't significant enough to be included on year pages. --Talk to NOBODY   18:54, March 23, 2016 (UTC)

Crabs

Those enemies in Rust Bucket are definitely crabs. There's the obvious appearance (color palette, body shape, claws, legs, organic eye instead of a robotic one), there's the fact that they move sideways (which is obviously a crabs thing), there's the fact the sound which they make upon death is not the sound of a robot but the sound of a shell breaking (no, seriously, it is), there's the fact that Nitrome said "I'll make this post short and snappy!" when posting a first preview of them. On top of all the in-game evidences, there is also common sense. All the enemies in the game are organic and are closely tied to animals. It would make absolutely no sense to put robots in the game, let alone in sewers. Also Nitrome has proven that they can make their robot sprites pretty obvious in their game. I mean look at Platform Panic, those are undeniably robots, while the enemies in Rust Bucket have so much traits that link them to crabs. No i mean seriously there is no debate here those are crabs.

As for calling them "mutant crabs" over just crabs because they are one-eyed, we already have squids in the game and they only have one eye. So I think that we should keep crabs as just crabs and not mutant crabs, because it would bring and inconsistency with all other one-eyed enemies in the game (squids, living stumps, brain monsters...).

I only reverted Robotunicornattack's edits because his actions were spam, since he only edited to add a link to his website. Plus, he has also done this on three other wikis. The user likely is a bot and not an actual person. --Talk to NOBODY   03:29, May 11, 2016 (UTC)

GouchnoxWiki

I noticed that you think GouchnoxWiki treats you like an amateur editor; however, I think you may have misunderstood GouchnoxWiki. In one of your edits to the Leap Day characters article, you added a column for a character's second and third selfie pose, but GouchnoxWiki reverted it and said "I know there are multiple poses, I was gonna act accordingly. Also if you don't know how to edit a table, don't do it. Feel free to give feedback and discuss about it, but I know what I'm doing here." When he reverted your edit, it looks like he only did so because his idea was to add a collapsible table instead of a section for each character. When he asked you not to edit something if you don't know how to, I think he may have misunderstood your edit, since when you added the columns you added them properly and they didn't break anything.

In the past, some of your reactions to GouchnoxWiki was that he was not giving you proper respect, but I think this "disrespectful attitude" was unintentional. For example, on the Rust Bucket interactive objects page, in this edit GouchnoxWiki mentioned "My gosh this is gonna require a lot of cleaning up.", but I don't think he was making a personal comment about you. I'm not sure where some of these other conflicts occurred, but I don't think GouchnoxWiki was trying to be disrespectful.

If you have any other instances where you feel hurt by another user, you can always message me or talk to the user and explain to them the problem. Also, if this situation occurs again, it is best to talk to the user regularly instead of using what they said against them, unlike the edit summary in this edit.

FYI: a vast majority of my edit summaries, such as this edit or this one aren't aimed towards any editor in particular and are just general comments over my edit. I do not hold any particular grudge over any person editing here, and if I did I would calmly talk to them about it. I aim at helping to build a nearly-exhaustive and user-friendly wikia database, and therefore juges edits rather than the people who edit. I tend to be annoyed by a pointless or mistaking edit because it just results in more work put towards fixing rather than adding. It would be an unnecessary time waste to just hold a vandeta against a single user, which is why I don't do it. If I'm giving the impression of being blindly harsh towards someone in particular, I would encourage that person to talk to me personally about it. Although the order that selfie poses and characters are unlocked has a pattern, Nitrome Wiki unfortunately cannot predict what content will be next encountered based on this pattern, since the pattern has not been verified and it could change.
