RE: Purple Enzyme ?

The purple enzyme I posted in my userpage is a fanart, which means that I made it myself and it does not appear on the nitrome website. You are not allowed to upload nitrome fanarts on this wiki, however you can upload them on the Nitrome Fan Fiction Wiki like I did and then copy the image URL on you userpage. Hello! I noticed how you uploaded a picture of all your collected avatars. Unfortunately, Nitrome related personal images (Nitrome image that were uploaded only for personal use, not to be used on regular Nitrome Wiki pages) should not be uploaded here. Instead, you can upload them on the Nitrome Fan Fiction Wiki and then embed them here by following the steps on this page. Line breaks

A single line break requires the <br /> tag to be added at the end of the first line so that the second line does not get put onto the first.

Ex:

Ditto
changeType()

would produce:

Ditto changeType()

If you look at the code in source mode, you'll see that I have Ditto and changeType() on separate lines, but when published, changeType()'s text is put on the same line as Ditto.

On the other hand:

Ditto<br />
changeType()

tells the editor to insert a line break, thus yielding:

Ditto
changeType()

Note that Ditto and changeType() could be on the same line with a br tag in between them (ie. Ditto<br />changeType()) and it will still break the lines.   Random-storykeeper 20:48, March 7, 2014 (UTC)

Signatures

According to Project:Signatures, sigs must be transcluded as a template instead of substituting the entire code every time you sign. Fixing this can be done in your preferences. Under "My Info", go to "Custom Signature" and replace all the text in the field with the following:

• How Will I Make Polls ?

Making polls is very easy. In source mode, put down <poll>, and then below that write what question you want the poll to ask. After that, write below that the possible options, placing each option underneath the previous one. Once you have put down all your options, place </poll below the final option.

Example (source mode code):

Maybe

Creates:

<poll> Do you like polls? Yes No Maybe </poll>

• How Will I Add Music To Articles Or My Userpage ? Will I Have To Embed It ?

It is possible to add music to your userpage, and yes, you have to embed it (but this will not upload it to the Nitrome Wiki). However, I currently do not know how to do it. Also, I highly advise that you do not add music to your user page, as people often do not like going to a user page that has music playing, as when they hear it they often do not know where it is coming from, and will likely go back to the previous page. Wikia Staff highlighted this.

If you still want to add music to your user page, I suggest asking here on Community Central.

• What Are Bureaucrats ?

Bureaucrats are users who can change the user group of other users, allowing them to add or remove user right. A user right gives a user certain privileges, such as the ability to ban users, delete pages, etc..

• What Special Rights Admins Have ?

Admins have the ability to delete pages, delete images, undelete a page, protecting and removing protection from pages, banning other users, and are chat moderators. More information here. --Talk to NOBODY   23:43, March 15, 2014 (UTC)

Um, adding music is not bad. It's adding music that plays automatically when you first enter the page that turns people away. And if you're going to have autoplay music, you better have the button to turn it off in a prominent place.

That aside, adding music to your page really depends on what kind of music you have in mind. If you just want to use files from the wiki (most which can be found here), you would embed them the same way you do with pictures: [[File:File name.ogg]] corresponding to the actual file name found. If you want your own music, you could embed a video from YouTube with the sound you want, I guess. Use {{#youtube:Video code}} where video code is the bit of gibberish that comes after the ?v= in the URL. (Note that there appears to be a bug where this function does not work in Chrome.) It's the only other way really, without having to upload a personal file or using verbatim tags. :/

Battle of the Week rule changes

Hello! Battle of the week rules have changed, this change being that a single user can only have a maximum of 2 battle on Template:NextBattles. What this means is that, if you suggest 2 battles and these battles are added to Template:NextBattles, then you cannot suggest another battle until one of your battles is removed from the Template:NextBattles list.

A battle is removed from the lists when it is used as a battle. Basically, this means that if you suggest 2 battles and those battles are added to the Template:NextBattles list, you cannot suggest another battle until one of your battles is made into a battle. If you do suggest a battle while you already have 2 battles on Template:NextBattles, your battle suggestion will be rejected, however, you can still suggest it again after one of your battles have been made into a battle.

This rule applies only to battles suggestions that are used; if you suggest 2 battles and one of them is used while the other is not used, then you can still suggest another battle (if you do not already have 2 battles on Template:NextBattles). The following battles have been removed from Template:NextBattles in order to comply with this new rule:

1. Tanks (Tanked Up) battle (all different coloured tanks)
2. Garry VS Barry VS Larry VS Boss  •  Mahsaad
