Kind of been thinking about this one for a while ish, but I think having a section parameter for Template:Otherpage is not needed for the purposes of this wiki. The intended purpose of the main template is to point users to (often) a disambiguation page if a user was to end up in the wrong place.

I definitely agree with using the otherpage template on articles where the the subject matter is not clearly defined. An example of this in Fireballs would be something like Coloured fireballs. That being said, I just can't agree with having this template be used for sections. I mean, to be led to that section, a user would have to be looking past the list name clearly defining which game the components come from, but I can't see how that would be misleading in the slightest. Maybe for components that share similar names and are found in the same game series? But other than that, no one would confuse a section dedicated to a fireball in a list about hazards for Silly Sausage for reading about fireballs in, say, Tiny Castle.

So to note, I think we should remove the template Otherpage where it is being used in list sections, unless it's being used to define similarly named components found in the same game series (but even then, I would argue we should just use Template:For). I think it's fair to assume people would search for a generality before getting into the specifics, but not the other way around. Thus, I think we should keep list section links in disambiguation pages, but just not have the otherpage banner in the linked section.  Talk Random-storykeeper Contributions 09:29, November 14, 2016 (UTC)
