Explanation: On January 14th 2012, NOBODY was unsatisfied with this day's Pixel Love game. Wanting something better, he went on to JayisGames and played "Blue Knight". On December 24th, NOBODY had intended to play the game the next Monday that was Pixel Love-less. NOBODY played the game. Captivated by its length, NOBODY could not resist writing something on it. So that's what he did.

Gameplay[edit | edit source]

Blue Knight is a shooter metroidvania. The player takes control of blue knight, who has been given the task of eradicating all alien enemies on the planet. At first, the player starts off without the necessary weapons, but as the game goes on, they obtain the power ups. The game features five bosses, four that much be destroyed before the fifth can be fought.

The player has to collect gems in order to open gates. Upon opening a gate, the player is stripped of the gems required.

Enemies[edit | edit source]

  • Biting enemies--> Biting enemies - small enemies that walk back and forth, easily killed
  • Jumping enemies-->Jumping enemies - enemies the jump upwards, usually found in pairs
  • Wasps - enemies the home in on the player
  • Mini pyramids - a mini pyramid enemy that shoots a singe bullet
  • Turrets - an enemy that fires five bullet simultaneously
  • Jellyfish - an enemy that appears only in water

Bosses[edit | edit source]

  • Pyramids - defenseless bosses that rely on protection from nearby enemies
  • Core - final boss that attacks by use of wasps and constant fire of bullets

Power ups[edit | edit source]

  • Health upgrade - tank-like objects that grant the player an extra bar of health. They are placed in somewhat hard to reach locations
  • Gun - an object obtained early on in the game. The weapon fires a constant stream of bullets that slowly damages enemies
  • Diving suit - an object that allows the player to enter water
  • Jetpack - an object that allows the player to hover

Misc.[edit | edit source]

  • Gates - objects that bar the player from passing until they have the necessary gems
  • Water - a substance that at first kills the player, but then becomes traversible with the diving suit. Slows the player down and lowers gun shooting sound
  • Restart pads - pads that allow the player to restart on if they die
  • Gem door - a door found early on in the game that opens once all four bosses are defeated
  • Ship - the player's ship. Does nothing at all'
  • Black gems - gems dropped by enemies, needed for opening gates

  • Pyramids - small, defenseless bosses that rely on defense from nearby enemies
  • Core - the final boss of the game
