Chests[edit | edit source]

This section is about Chests from Published:Tower Fortress. For Chests from other games, please see Treasure chests.

Appearance[edit | edit source]

Chests are dark blue coloured with a golden frame and keyhole.

Game information[edit | edit source]

Chests can be seen scattered around in levels, and can be opened with a few shots. They contain weapons the player can pick up to replace their current shots. Opening a chest will contribute towards the player's combo meter, like with enemies. All bosses in the game will drop a chest upon death, though these contain gems instead of weapons.

Medipacks[edit | edit source]

Appearance[edit | edit source]

Medipacks are white white with a red cross in the center, similar to first aid kits.

Game information[edit | edit source]

Medipacks will rarely drop upon killing any enemy in the game. They can be picked up by the player in order to restore one health point. They cannot be picked up with a full heath bar, though taking a hit afterwards will make the player automatically obtain the medipack. Alternatively, they can be destroyed with a few shots and turned into gems, which will contribute to the player's combo meter. Every boss will drop a medipack upon death.

Keys[edit | edit source]

This section is about Keys from Published:Tower Fortress. For Keys from other games, please see Keys.

Appearance[edit | edit source]

Keys are gold-coloured and have a square shape.

Game information[edit | edit source]

Keys are automatically obtained once the player has killed enough enemies. The first key requires 10 enemy kills, the second 15, then 20 and so on. Keys allow the player to access the upgrades area at the end of each level, and choose between three upgrades to pick up.

Gems[edit | edit source]

This section is about Gems from Published:Tower Fortress. For Gems from other games, please see Gems.

Appearance[edit | edit source]

Gems are diamond-shaped orange crystals that spin around.

Game information[edit | edit source]

Gems are dropped by every enemy in the game when killed, depending on their health. They can be also acquired from the chests dropped by bosses, or by destroying medipacks. Gems do not have any effect on runs, but can be used to purchase suits with different abilities. Getting a high enough combo can multiply the value of gems.

Goo[edit | edit source]

Appearance[edit | edit source]

Goo appears as green circular drops.

Game information[edit | edit source]

Many goo blobs are dropped by enemies once killed, which slowly disappear with time. By default the player in unable to interact with them, though with specific upgrades such as Goo Patch or Reshaper, they can be collected in order to replenish health or ammo.
