Chicken god
The chicken god is the third and final boss encountered in Bomb Chicken. They are found in their chamber in the game's third and final world.
Appearance[edit | edit source]
The largest boss in the entire game, the chicken god appears to be a gargantuan chicken with a very fat round body that is mostly orange, with clumps of feathers growing out of small parts. They have tiny wings that rarely flap. Additionally, they wear a stone mask which resembles the statues that are spouts for blue sauce. Contrasting the statue, the mask is crying and drooling the blue sauce. Underneath the mask is the chicken god's head; it resembles a real-life chicken's head, having a red crown and fleshy chin, yellow beak, and even blue eyes. Their eyes are also crying the blue sauce. Over time, during the boss fight, the mask will get more and more cracked, and the chicken god will bleed geysers of blue sauce.
Game information[edit | edit source]
Prior to their appearance, the chicken god's nature is somewhat nebulous at first, owing to some of the quotes said by (presumably) them in each checkpoint. At first, it seems as if they are on the Chicken's side, hoping that the player can collect enough gems and escape the temple, and at the same time providing lore to the game's setting, plus giving very little insight into the game's bosses. But as the game progresses, their intentions of using the Chicken for world dominance are revealed, pressing the player to complete the game.
Boss fight[edit | edit source]
There are three phases to the battle. The first phase involves the chicken god alternatively spitting bombs that land on the main platform, or lasers that are fired around the boss. The second phase has them summoning Egglets to attack the player, and even a swift laser beam that is fired downwards across the ground, along with their previous attacks. The third phase has them shooting lasers again, but this time faster, and more Egglets are summoned. To weaken the boss, blow up the pulsating flesh that appears on the body during the boss fight, which reveal gems that can them be blown up to weaken the boss into collapsing. When the chicken god's head is on the floor, simply kick a bomb to the head. Do this three times till their mask is finally destroyed, thus ending the boss fight.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- Whenever the chicken god speaks in each checkpoint, they refer to themselves as "we", indicating that they are referring to the spirits of the temple along with themselves. It could also mean that rather than being one gargantuan chicken as seen with their "true form", the chicken god is actually several chickens mutated and fused together, forming a big chicken.

Considering the ending of the game, the player character most likely becomes the successor to the chicken god, because of the Chicken sprouting a polyp, and the mask being intact.
