Snipers are enemies in the Final Ninja series. Although differing greatly in appearance, they both have the ability to move a target reticule around the level to target Takeshi with.
Snipers will only fire when the reticule is over Takeshi. To destroy a sniper, the player has to find the machine and destroy it with a single ninja star.
Robot sniper units[edit | edit source]

Robot sniper units appear in Final Ninja Zero. They have the ability to seek out Takeshi even when he is in stealth mode. Levels with robot sniper units have grey cables interspersed throughout the stage that provide the only safe coverage from the reticule.
Sniper machine[edit | edit source]

Sniper machines appear in Final Ninja. Unlike Final Ninja Zero, the sniper machine's reticule can be avoided using stealth.
