Falling robots are enemies in the game Bullethead.

Appearance[edit | edit source]

Falling robots are metal heads with two green optic-sensors and three small antennae.

Game information[edit | edit source]

Falling robots come from the sky in a row that goes across the screen. They will first fall then stop at a bit lower then the top of the screen, then fall. When they hit the ground, they all explode. The can come in rows of one to seven. Sometimes, the falling robots will come in multiple rows/ranks, forcing the soldiers to eliminate all of them to create a safe avoidance path. Each time the rows hit the ground, an extra row will be added to the top. This means the soldiers could theoretically get an infinite score by leaving the last row alive always, so that another row would be spawned.

If a falling robot is killed, there will be a gap where the destroyed robot was, and in the other rows behind them as well. Their crashing against the floor is an attempt to crush the soldier. Other enemies are never around when these enemies are present.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • The reason the falling robots can be killed so easily is that if their health is higher, it would be impossible to kill them before they hit the soldier.
  • Their moving patterns resemble the paths of classic shooting-defense games like Galaga.
