The English navy is the fourth group of enemies the pirates encounter in the game Mutiny. Despite encountered early in the game, they possess a wide arsenal of weapons, exceptional accuracy, and good use of long range weapons, thus making the level difficult.

Appearance

The English navy soldiers wear an eighteenth century soldier's uniform and a beaver skin hat.

Captain

The captain of the English navy looked exactly like an English navy member, except he has white hair and wears a captain's hat (pirates would wear these hats sideways to mock the British) on him.

Game information

Strategies

The English captain tends not to move for the entire level, only when most of his men have been defeated that he will begin to act. From his position, he will often utilize the cannon to attack far off pirates.

English navy troops will attempt to board the player's ship, and often utilize weapons that can push the player back far. Most weapons used by English navy troops are used from long range. English navy members will sometimes shoot the ceiling above them if the player is above them.

Location

The below map of level four shows the location of each English navy member, each English navy member being a blue square. The number above each blue square corresponds to that enemy's inventory card. For example, the green 1 above the blue square would indicate that the inventory for that enemy is a member (1). The below image is the placement of the enemy English navy member at the start of level four.
