Shield Knight

Shield Knight[1] is a supporting character in Shovel Knight Dig and the owner of Altius.

Appearance[edit | edit source]

Shield Knight wears red armour with gold edgings. Her helmet is spherical at the top, has a wing on each side, gold edging on the bottom, and a ridge going up the middle of the helmet on the front.

Game information[edit | edit source]

Surface[edit | edit source]

Shield Knight can rarely appear at the campfire in the campsite and can appear here before defeating Drill Knight for the first time. After Drill Knight has been defeated once, when Shovel Knight dies or the game is launched she can sometimes be found sitting near the hole leading into The Well. Prior to the True Ending being completed once, she can also appear here if Shovel Knight dies during a step of the True Ending and will give Shovel Knight a hint on completing the step he died on.

The Well[edit | edit source]

Throughout both endings, Shield Knight largely only appears in cutscenes.
